Every week, we round up a bunch of the best and most interesting links we’ve found in the online photography world, and deliver them to your doorstep. So, as promised, here is your regularly scheduled link snapshot for the week.
- PMA `08 is only 11 days away! It will be held January 31 through February 2 in Las Vegas. Fotohacker wishes it could blog the event live for you, but unfortunately – we’re unable. Still, we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears open during the whole thing for cool news.
- Eye-Fi has enhanced it’s Mac compatibility. Visit the Eye-Fi support site for more.
- onOne Software has acquired a new image resizing and retargeting technology called Liquid Resize, and you can see the video of the technology in action here. Very impressive.
- Harry Nowell talks about the power of big apertures in his article The Power Of 1.8!
- There are 20 days left to contribute to issue 15 of JPG Magazine.

You should totally get PMA sponsorship and have them fly you out to Vegas and pay for your meals and hotel so you can cover the event. I’m just saying.

You know, Garrett – I would totally not be against that idea. So, if anyone from PMA happens by the blog, feel free to drop us a line. I’m just saying.

Hi:
Photography is a great idea for capturing the moment, a memory, a millstone and better yet turning a beautiful painstaking photograph into an oil painting to hand down from generation to generation. Image one of your photographs made into an oil painting with your specific instructions. And you determine when the painting is done. The talent at our gallery is outstanding, please visit our site to review our previous work.
If you are interested and would like to feature an article here at your site. Please contact me at the above e-mail address.
Thank you so much for your time.
